2018 World Conference

2018 IFCBA World Conference in Manila, Philippines

The 2018 IFCBA World Conference will take place from Monday, May 28, starting with our Board of Directors meeting, through Thursday, May 31 in Manila, Philippines.   Join us as we explore the conference theme, “Redefining Global Trade Practices: A Conference for Customs Brokers and their Trade Partners”.  Please note that while the conference will formally end with a closing event on the evening of Wednesday, May 30 there will be optional, add-on day excursions planned for May 31.   

Ge Jizhong Elected as Shanghai Association President

The IFCBA Secretariat is pleased to announce that Mr. Ge Jizhong, IFCBA Managing Director and local host of the IFCBA 2016 World Conference, has been elected as President of the Shanghai Customs Brokers Association. At the October 2017 meeting which was attended by hundreds of business representatives, Mr. Ge was chosen by attendees to lead the organization.  During the sessions, delegates discussed the continued development and promotion of customs brokers as trade facilitators who are positioned to make significant contributions to the One Belt, One Road Initiative.
