The IFCBA Secretariat was very pleased to learn that IFCBA Immediate Past Chair, Mr. Shantanu Bhadkamkar has been nominated, by His Excellency The President of India, as a Member on the Court of Indian Maritime University (IMU) for a three-year term. IMU was established through an Act of Parliament, and it encompasses under its fold seven premier government institutions. IMU presently offers Diploma, Degree, Graduate and Postgraduate programs in areas such as International Transportation and Logistics Management, Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, Maritime Management, and Logistics, Retailing & E-Commerce.
Mr. Bhadkamkar also has been nominated as an esteemed Member of the Governing Body of Symbiosis Skills & Open University for a term of one year. This university has 38 academic institutions spread over ten campuses in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Nashik, Noida and Pune.
