Intellectual property council discusses anti-counterfeiting pact, tobacco packaging

The Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) Council meeting on 28-29 February 2012 discussed a number of issues, including the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement and Australia’s tobacco plain-packaging bill. It elected Ambassador Dacio Castillo (Honduras) as its new Chair.
