Panel set up in steel case, reports adopted on raw materials, footwear and plastic bags

The following is excerpted from a 22 February 2012 news release by the World Trade Organization.

On 22 February 2012, the Dispute Settlement Body established a panel to review anti-dumping measures imposed by the United States on steel products from Korea. It also adopted the panel and Appellate Body reports which examined China’s export restrictions on raw materials, the panel report reviewing anti-dumping measures imposed by the EU on Chinese footwear, and the panel report which looked at the safeguard measures imposed by the Dominican Republic on imports of plastic bags and tubular fabric.
