The Revised Kyoto Convention has 86 Contracting Parties with the accession of the Republic of Albania

The following is excerpted from a 13 June 2013 press release by the World Customs Organization.

The Embassy of the Republic of Albania deposited Albania’s instrument of accession to the International Convention on the Simplification and Harmonization of Customs Procedures (Revised Kyoto Convention) with the World Customs Organization on 4 June 2013.

Having entered into force on 3 February 2006, the Revised Kyoto Convention now has 86 Contracting Parties, and is regarded as a blueprint for effective and modern Customs procedures.
