The Zambia Revenue Authority -ZRA- has praised Clearing and Forwarding Agents in Zambia for improved tax compliance and trade facilitation.

The Department of Finance (DOF) said the TradeNet platform, which will enable the government to eliminate trade-data discrepancy, will be fully operational in December.

The United States has requested WTO dispute consultations with the Russian Federation concerning additional duties applied by Russia on certain imports of US goods. The request was circulated to WTO members on 29 August.

Beginning Aug. 1 companies importing into China must file a new, single customs declaration that combines the requirements of the General Administration of Customs and China Inspection and Quarantine.
